The Project
Bendigo Toyota is central Victoria’s largest Toyota dealership offering exceptional service and facilities. As a key part of the dealership the workshop floor needed to reflect the state-of-the-art image of the dealership, hold up to the daily demand on durability and meet the Toyota Safety OH&S requirements.
The demand on the facility to continue to operate was a challenge, to ensure the workers were not affected by the product application and to maintain a business-as-usual approach.
The Solution
The busy workshop could not be closed to complete the floor replacement, as a result the floor installation was executed in two stages. This allowed minimal disruption to service.
Nitoflor FC150 HP 100% solids epoxy floor coating was selected as the best system to meet the requirements: a floor that can cope with chemical attack, mechanic toolbox transfers, vehicle traffic and ease of cleaning of spills.
To prepare the floor and fill any level differences Nitomortar 903 & Nitomortar F4 Fillers were used. A primer coat of Nitomortar 903 was then applied to seal the existing substrate and allow maximum adhesion of the coating.

- Available in a range of Light Reflective colours to improve light transference throughout the workshop areas
